Fellow musicians meet to sing and play music together in acoustic Song Circles of differing skill levels. Circles are formed to encourage people to sing and play popular sing-able songs from various genres (popular, folk, blues, country), using all kinds of acoustic instruments. The purpose is to enjoy the camaraderie of playing and singing with people, while exchanging songs and playing tips. … As a show chorus, members are expected to move and emote while singing. After a successful audition, annual membership fees and monthly membership fees are required. The fees pay for coaching, music, costumes, rehearsal hall rental and equipment. Various fundraising is presented throughout the year.
